I had a project come my way and was really excited about its prospects. However, I was also concerned about the associated analysis. I needed someone, a postdoctoral research associate, who could take on this endeavor and knock it out of the park. Dr. Melanie "Mel" Boudreau did just that. She was a rock star, completing most of a two-year project in less than one year. She continues to exceed expectations and has broadened her impact to influencing and supporting multiple graduate students and research staff. She is likely to be widely successful in our science. Thank you Mel!! You were a great first postdoc, made my life easy, and proved your value as a colleague and friend to so many during this short time. Cheers to many more successes!
